Welcome to Mavu Services LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services. By engaging our painting services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Mavu Services LLC is a fully licensed and insured painting contractor providing commercial and residential painting services in Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding areas.

Mavu Services LLC maintains comprehensive insurance coverage to protect our clients, employees, and property:

• General Liability Insurance: Covers property damage and bodily injury that may occur during our work
• Workers Compensation Insurance: Protects our employees and shields clients from liability for workplace injuries
• Commercial Auto Insurance: Covers all company vehicles used for service delivery
• Bonded: Additional protection for our clients peace of mind

Proof of insurance is available upon request. We are registered and in good standing with the North Carolina Secretary of State.

4. Estimates and Pricing

• All estimates are provided free of charge
• Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Final pricing may vary if the scope of work changes or unforeseen conditions are discovered
• Any additional work must be approved in writing before proceeding

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms vary based on project size:

• Small Projects (under $2,500): Payment due upon completion
• Medium Projects ($2,500 – $10,000): 50% deposit required, balance due upon completion
• Large Projects (over $10,000): 30% deposit, 30% at midpoint, 40% upon completion

We accept cash, check, credit cards, and electronic transfers.

6. Warranty

Mavu Services LLC stands behind our work with the following warranty:

• Workmanship Warranty: 2 years on all labor
• Paint Warranty: Manufacturer warranty applies to all paints used
• Warranty does not cover damage from accidents, abuse, or normal wear and tear
• Warranty claims must be reported within 30 days of discovery

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the best results, clients agree to:

• Provide clear access to work areas
• Remove or secure valuable items and furniture from work areas
• Inform us of any known hazards (lead paint, asbestos, etc.)
• Ensure pets are secured during work hours
• Provide access to electricity and water as needed

8. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 48+ hours before scheduled work: Full refund of deposit
• Cancellations made within 48 hours: 50% of deposit retained
• No-shows or same-day cancellations: Deposit forfeited

9. Limitation of Liability

Mavu Services LLC liability is limited to the contract value of services provided. We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing conditions not disclosed prior to work
• Damage caused by third parties
• Consequential or incidental damages
• Delays due to weather or circumstances beyond our control

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through:

1. Direct negotiation between parties
2. Mediation in Mecklenburg County, NC
3. Binding arbitration under North Carolina law

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any legal proceedings shall take place in Mecklenburg County, NC.
